XC CHL Championship Recap

The Wyoming High School and Wyoming Middle School cross country teams competed at the Cincinnati Hills League Championships on Saturday, October 12th at Harrison High School. 
  The varsity boys team scored 34 points to win the league title. It marked the first league title since 2014. Individually, the Cowboys had five runners in the Top 10.  The varsity girls team scored 62 points to finish in second place in the league rankings. Ava Geiger led the team with a 4th place overall finish. Other notable finishers for the Cowboys - In the CHL 7/8 grade races, the girls team came in first place with 68 points. It marked the first CHL title since 2012. Micha Luebbe led the charge with a 7th place finish to round the Top 10. On the boys side, The Cowboys placed 2nd overall with 57 team points. Cayden Walters (5th Place) and Luca Smith (10th Place) rounded the Top 10 runners.
