Cowboys Punch Ticket to State Semi-Finals With 2–1 Win Over Madeira

The Wyoming Boys Soccer team is headed to the State Semi-Finals after a  2–1 victory over the Madeira Mustangs on Sunday, November 2nd in the Regional Final at Milford High School.  

Madeira struck first, capitalizing on a corner kick with under two minutes remaining in the opening half to take a 1–0.  In just thirty seconds, the Cowboys went down the field and scored off the foot of Eli Yunker.

The Cowboys defense held firm the rest of the way in the second half, and Yunker found the back of the net again off a set piece by Miles Steininger.

Wyoming will face Bay on Wednesday, November 5th at Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
