Cowboys defeat Roger Bacon; Travel to Valley View on Friday

The Wyoming Cowboys opened postseason play in dominant fashion, defeating the Roger Bacon Spartans 38-13 on Friday, October 31st, in the first round of the playoffs. The Cowboys offense piled up 363 total yards while holding the Spartans to just 168 yards.

Jackson Hamilton powered the Wyoming ground attack, rushing for 146 yards and two touchdowns. Tyler Johnson-Huff added 104 rushing yards and a score, while also hauling in a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback David Dupee.  

On the defensive side, Johnson-Huff continued to shine, leading the Cowboys with 16 total tackles. Charlie Walker made a momentum-shifting play with a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown, and Donovan Brown came up with a key fumble recovery to keep the Spartan offense in check.  

With the win, Wyoming advances to the regional quarterfinals and will travel to Germantown Valley View on Friday, November 7th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
