Boys Lacrosse Receives All-Region Recognition

The Division II Region 8 Boys Lacrosse postseason awards were announced, and the Wyoming Cowboys received several accolades for their individual performances this season.

Head Coach Nick Evans was named Division II Region 8 Coach of the Year. In his second season at the helm, Evans led the Cowboys to a 14-4 overall record, and finished the season ranked 3rd in the coaches poll. TJ Ahrens earned the title of Assistant Coach of the Year for his invaluable role in the team's preparation, development, and execution throughout the season. 

On the field, Alex Gordon received top honors as the Region 8 Player of the Year, capping off a remarkable season and career at Wyoming. Gordon finished the season with 57 goals and 25 assists. 

In addition, Wyoming had five players receive all-region for their individual contributions; Gabe Scruggs (1st Team), Jackson Palermo 1st Team), Noah Fent (1st Team), Alan Dulin (1st Team), and Bo Ekins (2nd Team).
