CHL Baseball Honors Announced

The Wyoming Cowboys baseball team was well represented in this year's all-league selections with eight players earning recognition for their outstanding performances during the season.

David Dupee, Charlie Steed, and Carson Stevens each received first team honors. 

Dupee scored 19 runs, collected 29 hits including 4 doubles and a home run. He drove in 22 RBIs and swiped 8 bases while posting a .478 on-base percentage and a .382 batting average. On the hill, David picked up 2 wins .

Steed led the pitching staff with a 4-1 record, throwing 40 innings and racking up 43 strikeouts. Offensively, he added 17 runs, 9 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases.

Stevens scored 27 runs, blasted 11 doubles and drove in 24 runs. He finished the senior season with 14 stolen bases and finished with an impressive .543 OBP and .427 batting average.

Atrain Fredericks, Noah Vickers, and Andre Woods received second team honors from the coaches around the league. Fredericks finished the season with 14 runs, 8 stolen bases, and made 44 putouts in the field. Vickers was excellent behind the plate. He posted a .383 on-base percentage, a .339 batting average, and drove in 10 RBIs. Defensively, he was a standout with a .978 fielding percentage as the team's catcher. Woods posted a .494 OBP to go along with 18 hits and 11 RBIs.

Receiving honorable mention honors were Tyler Evans and Solo Miller. Evans finished the year with a 2-2 record on the mound and contributed a .340 batting average at the plate. Miller drove in 7 runs, 7 stolen bases, and posted a .243 batting average.
