PIQUA, OH — The final day of the regional track and field meet at Piqua High School delivered big performances, highlighted by a record-breaking run from junior Olivia Hill and the closing chapter of a decorated career for senior Ava Geiger.

Hill etched her name into the record books in the 100-meter dash, blazing down the straightaway in 12.11 seconds to break the school record and finish second overall. The performance secured her a coveted spot at next week's state championships.

Hill's success didn't stop there. She also punched her ticket to State in the long jump, earning third place with a leap of 17 feet, 5.25 inches. She'll represent her team in both events at the season's biggest stage.

Meanwhile, senior distance runner Ava Geiger closed out her high school career with heart and grit, competing in the 3200-meter run. Geiger finished 11th with a time of 12:25.89, capping off a successful career marked by leadership, consistency, and determination.

Hill will represent Wyoming alongside senior Penelope Webb (high jump) at the 2025 OHSAA State Meet in Columbus.
