The Wyoming High School girls golf team delivered an impressive performance at the CHL Golf Championships on Friday, September 12th, at Reeves Golf Course, finishing in a tie for 3rd place with a team score of 389. The effort marked a 13-stroke improvement from their score at the CHL Preview earlier this season, highlighting the team's progress and determination.
Leading the way for the Cowboys was sophomore Addi Koenig, who carded a stellar round of 82 to finish tied for 5th overall. Koenig's consistent play set the tone for Wyoming and earned her a spot among the tournament's top performers.
Fellow sophomore Alice Karns added a solid round of 96, earning 14th place, while junior Mallory Bernecker shot a 104 to finish 18th overall. Rounding out the scoring for Wyoming was sophomore Harper Wagner, whose 107 secured 22nd place individually.
With balanced contributions across the lineup and notable improvement from earlier in the season, the Cowboys showed strong momentum as they continue into postseason play.
