Freund records 100 career wins; Cowboys advance to Districts

The Wyoming High School wrestling program competed at the Division II Sectional Tournament on Saturday, February 28th at Western Brown High School. The Cowboys scored 92.5 points, placing 6th overall.

Luke Freund recorded his 100th career win en route to a Sectional Championship at 285 pounds. 

Landen Woolsey finished as Runner-Up at 175 lb. weight class, and Leo Beard finished in 3rd place at 157 pounds.

Also joining Luke, Landen, and Leo at Districts will be Brandon Luebbe (5th Place at 126 lbs).) and Louie Beard (5th Place at 120 lbs.). 

Wyoming will compete in the District Wrestling Tournament beginning Friday, March 6, at Wilmington High School.
