Wyoming Track & Field Finish 4th at CHL Championships

The Wyoming High School Track & Field program traveled to Taylor High School on Friday, May 15th to compete in the 2026 Cincinnati Hills League Championships. Both teams turned in strong performances, each finishing fourth overall in the final standings.

The Wyoming girls team scored 91.5 points, led by an outstanding performance from senior Olivia Hill. Hill led the Cowboys by capturing league championships in both the 100-meter dash and the long jump. Freshman Abby Johnson added another CHL title for Wyoming by winning the high jump competition.

Wyoming also showed tremendous depth in the field events. Anna Snyder finished runner-up in the pole vault while MJ Story earned third place in the same event. On the track, Olivia Chrapliwy placed third overall in the 3200-meter run, Cassie Hobbs earned fourth place in the 800-meter run, and the girls 4x800-meter relay team brought home third place.

The Wyoming boys team totaled 91 points during the championship meet. JJ Crittenden led the Cowboys with a league championship in the high jump, while Jack Ranz captured the CHL title in the pole vault. Landon Walters added a runner-up finish in the pole vault, giving Wyoming a strong showing in the event.

In the distance events, Cade Brichler earned second place in the 1600-meter run. Gregory Kleinschmidt placed third in the 800-meter run, and Henry Berney added another podium finish with a third-place performance in the 3200-meter run. Wyoming also received a strong sprint performance from Justin Robinson, who finished third overall in the 100-meter dash. The boys 4x200-meter relay team capped off the evening with a third-place finish.
