The Wyoming High School wrestling program competed at the Division II Sectional Wrestling Tournament at Western Brown High School on Saturday, February 22nd. As a team, the Cowboys finished in 10th place.
Individually, Luke Freund was Sectional Champion in the 285 lbs. weight class to advance to Districts.
Joining Luke was Landen Woolsey. He battled his way to a second-place finish at 175lbs. to secure his spot at Districts.
Wyoming had four wrestlers finish 6th place in their respective weight class. Congratulations to Logan Capizzaono (120lbs.), Leo Beard (144lbs.), Joe Haller (150lbs.), and Brody Draper (215lbs.).
The Division II District Tournament will take place beginning Friday, February 28th at Wilmington High School.
