Wyoming Boys Soccer Opens Season with Road Win

The Wyoming boys soccer team kicked off the regular season in strong fashion, earning a 1-0 victory on the road against Kings High School on Saturday, August 16th. Junior Miles Steininger provided the difference, scoring on a direct kick with 12 minutes remaining in the game.

The Cowboys controlled much of the attack, firing 11 shots on goal throughout the contest. Defensively, senior goalkeeper Rocco Fischer and the back line stood tall to secure the shutout. Fischer recorded two saves in the win.

Wyoming will look to carry the momentum into its next match on Tuesday, August 19th, when the team travels to face Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
